Album Artist is a small graphc design studio based in far south Austin, TX. Although initially created to cater to the music industry, I will create eye catching pieces for just about any industry. The company is run by me; Douglas Brown. I'm an artist and illustrator who has created a variety of pieces, from print catalogs for sink companies, to storyboards for film and television.

People often ask: Why Album Artist? Well, I've alwys loved music and Austin, TX is a great city for it. During my school years at the University of Texas, I got in touch with a couple of bands, created a few gig posters, and a couple of murals in nightclubs. Those early experiences convinced me that design was my calling and working with musicians was going to be my niche. From there the name stuck.

As time has gone by though, my audience has broadened to include normal businesses and the Texas film industry. So have a look around, and if you feel I can be of service, do not hesitate to contact me.
